The Kerala State Higher Education Council
The Kerala State Higher Education Council (KSHEC) is organising the National Research Conference and Kerala Higher Education Expo 2026 as a major initiative to strengthen the State's research and innovation ecosystem. The Department of Higher Education and KSHEC have taken significant steps—CMNPF, Research Scholarships, Kairali Research Awards, and Centres of Excellence—to enhance research quality, infrastructure, and funding.
This Conference and Expo will serve as a platform for showcasing and disseminating knowledge outcomes emerging from these flagship initiatives, while facilitating scholarly presentations, exhibitions, and capacity-building workshops.
The event will also deliberate on a Draft Vision Document on Research and Innovation in Kerala, contributing to a long-term roadmap for globally relevant and socially impactful research.

Kerala Higher Education Expo
The participating institutions are expected to showcase their major contributions to research and development, including research publications, funded projects, patents, research products and facilities, international collaborations, books authored by faculty, and PhD awards.
Each institution will be provided with a 10 × 10 ft exhibition stall with basic amenities such as tables, chairs, fans, and power supply. Additional requirements may be communicated in advance.
There are no strict guidelines on stall design, and best-designed and content-rich stalls will be recognised with awards, details of which will be announced during the event.
Institutions may depute faculty members and researchers to manage the stalls, with travel and accommodation support provided as per norms.
